Tibetan Singing Bowls that we are making available are in use since the time of the Buddha (Shakyamuni), when his disciples used these singing bowls in their daily lives for meditation and spiritual well being. The sound that is produced by striking the bowl in a specific manner produces vibration & tone which is believed to tranquilize and produce a lasting effect on the body & mind.
each bowl has a unique size, shape and thickness of walls, so the sound it emits, with the combination of its fundamental frequency and harmonics, will also be unique. 

Small bowls
Size : 10 to 13 cm in diameter
Weight : Between 250 to 500 g
Sound :  The tone of these bowls is sweet and cheerful.

 Medium bowls 
Size: From 14 to 20 cm in diameter 
Weight : Between 550 to 1.3 kg 
Characteristic of the sound:  Medium and semi deep tones, rich in harmonics. 
Resonance  (time while vibrating) : Medium / High 

Large bowls
Size : 21 cm + in diameter 
Weight : Between 1.3 to 2.5 kg 
Sound : Low, deep and sweeping tones, abundant in harmonics. 
Resonance  (time while vibrating) :  High / Very high
